Health Centre - Services |
You
may choose to see any of the Doctors or nurses
by appointment and we will see you as
an emergency if necessary, in surgery hours,
even if we have no appointments left.
|
| When
we are closed, a Doctor is always available for
emergencies, including nights, weekends
and Bank Holidays. This service is provided
by GPs in Sheffield, working as a Collaborative
from a central base at the Royal Hallamshire
Hospital. When the surgery is closed, your
telephone call will be automatically diverted
to the Collaborative. A receptionist will take
your details and then a nurse or GP will phone
you back to discuss the problem. You will often
be given telephone advice. However, if you need
to be seen you may be asked to go the Royal Hallamshire
Hospital or a doctor may call to see you if you
are unfit to travel. |
| We
believe it is better for your needs to be met
here rather than in hospital, if possible. The
Practice provides a wide range of services, including
maternity, minor surgery, child health, contraceptive
services and blood and other testing. |
| All
parts of the surgery are accessible to
wheelchairs and a number of parking spaces are
reserved for disabled patients. We have a wheelchair
for your use - please ask at Reception. |
| Use the links to the left under "Services" for
more information. |
